On Wednesday the developers over at Intrepid Studios released a video showcasing Alpha 2 PvP Content for Ashes of Creation. Here is a Ashes of Creation PvP Update.
Caravan PvP Game Mode:
The Caravan PvP Game mode is a scenerio where one side is trying to deliver a package or items from one location to another. However, there are bandits (players) who will be attempting to rob the caravan.
- Players may need to travel across land or water
- Attackers need to destroy the caravan to get the reward
- Different types of loot can be rewarded from the caravan
- Victorious attackers can summon their own caravan to transport the stolen loot back to base but will need to wait for it to arrive
- The attackers then become the defenders of their stolen loot in their own caravan
- You can loot the stolen goods at the scene of the battle but you will obtain much more if you transport the crates and turn in
Travel by Water:
- You can convert your caravan into a boat to travel by water
- The current of the water can provide an advantage or disadvantage in speed
- Loot can be sold or turned in at towns with a caravan master
- Stolen loot can also be sold to a commodity vendor
- Marketplaces can have a black market to sell more stolen goods
