What you might want to know
Your Hogwarts Legacy character is what you make it. Creating the your own unique character to the wizarding world will make the experience of playing the game even better! Hogwarts Legacy’s character creator is very detailed, different skin colors, hair types, freckles and even moles. In terms of your outfit, Wizarding World members who link their accounts with the game will be able to grab a special robe, called the Fan-atic robe. Presets
These are your presets. The first thing you will be given going into the character creation process is the preset menu as shown above. Hogwarts Legacy gives you a range of different characters with different looks to choose from, these presents are handed to you to give you a ballpark of different options and to pick something close to what you might like, with the other tabs in the character creation giving you all the options to get deep into it and make your character look exactly how you’d like!
After all, it’s the games goal to make sure that for anyone that fantasized about bringing themselves to the grounds of Hogwarts, because the Hogwarts Legacy Character Creator will be able to for the very first time and that finally everyone has the options to represent who they are, in full detail and in their own unique way!
Facewear
The second tab, Facewear, will bring you right into the details of your character, being able to change your face shape and skin colour. As well giving you the option to put glasses on, it has been confirmed that you will be able to collect and change to different facewear items such as different kinds of glasses and masks further that you will be able to add to your face, later into the game, with the developer saying it’s all esthetically.
Hairstyles
Tab three, Hairstyles. With a wide variety of different hairstyles and hair colors, there should be something for everyone! Long, short, straight, wavy or dreadlocks, you can pick it all, in any color you like!
Complexion
Now we are getting into the subtle options regarding your characters face, different freckles, moles, scars and markings. You can give your character slightly darker eyes or even some shading on your cheeks! Just like Harry Potter, with his unique lighting scar, you will be able to pick scars to put on your characters face.
Eyebrows
Picking your eye color is of course one of the essential parts of making your own character. The character creator gives you are wide range of different options in eye color, eyebrow shape and eyebrow color!
Finalize Your Character
The final tab is where you finalize your character, you are not picking your house (yet), at last you are choosing which voice you’d like your character to have, you get the option of a more masculine or feminine voice, with the pitch slider making it even more refined.
Picking the difficulty for your game, do you want to play the immersive way, with a focus on story, with minimal gameplay challenges, not having to die, respawn and start over your quest, you are able to with the Story difficulty! For players wanting a more demanding challenge, you can ofcourse go with the Hard difficulty!
Give your character a name and pick in which dormitory you’d like to be by selecting if you want to be a witch or a wizard!
