These are the new MMORPGs scheduled to release or entering early access sometime in 2024. The order is based off release date but that could change depending on delays with some games. Soulframe
Rumored to release late 2024. “Soulframe is an upcoming free-to-play action MMO from Digital Extremes, the developers of Warframe. It’s set in a fantasy world and is described as the “mirror universe version of Warframe”. Soulframe features slower-paced combat, similar to Elden Ring or Ghost of Tsushima, as opposed to Warframe’s fast-paced space ninja combat. The game also has themes of climate change and environmental destruction, and is set in a natural environment.”

Ark 2
Release moved back to late 2024. “ARK 2 is a survival MMO game developed by Studio Wildcard and set to launch in late 2024. It will be available on Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows. The game will continue the story of humankind’s evolution from previous ARK games, and will take place after the events of Genesis: Part 2, the fifth and final paid DLC expansion for ARK: Survival Evolved in 2021. In ARK 2, players will face off against intelligent dinosaurs, aggressive alien fauna, and the exotic environments of an unearthly planet. The game will feature photorealistic lighting systems, with a more photorealistic day-night cycle that generates real-time ambient lighting and shadows. The game’s story will star Russell Crowe as Kor the Prophet, an eccentric “dino-whisperer” from before recorded history, and Vin Diesel as Santiago, a 24th century “Mek”-pilot, gearhead, and freedom-fighter.”

The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road
“The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road is the eighth chapter of The Elder Scrolls Online and will be released on June 3, 2024 for PC/Mac and June 18, 2024 for Xbox and PlayStation. The game is developed by ZeniMax Online Studios and is set in the Colovian region of the West Weald. In the game, players will investigate the return of Ithelia, a Daedric Prince who has never been seen before in the Elder Scrolls series. Players will also uncover the plans of her followers, encounter Wood Elves, and protect the people of West Weald from the Forgotten Prince’s return.”

FINAL FANTASY XIV: Dawntrail
“Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail is an expansion for Final Fantasy XIV that is expected to launch in summer 2024. The expansion will include new dungeons, trials, an alliance raid, an eight-player raid, and at least one ultimate trial. It will also add new jobs, a new playable race, and PvP updates.”

World of Warcraft: The War Within
Releasing Sometime 2024 “World of Warcraft: The War Within is a multiplayer expansion pack for the game World of Warcraft that is expected to be released by the end of 2024. It is the tenth expansion for the game and the first in the Worldsoul Saga trilogy. In The War Within, players will travel through the depths of Azeroth, including the following regions: The Isle of Dorn, The Ringing Deeps, Hallowfall, Azj-Kahet, and Khaz Algar”
