Hi-Fi Rush ranked eighth on the Steam Weekly Top 10 Sellers list as it enters in it’s debut week on SteamDB.

The Dead Space Remake, which also released last week, enters the Top 10 Steam Weekly Top Sellers list together with Hi-Fi Rush. Releasing on the 25th of January, retailing at $29.99, making it even more impressive to get into the top 10, since SteamDB ranks the largest Steam titles by revenue. The game has been getting positive reviews all across the board and is rated Overwelmingly Positive on Steam with over 3,800 player reviews currently!

Forspoken didn’t make it in the top 10?
When compared to Hi-Fi Rush, which unexpectedly released as part of last week’s Xbox Developer Direct event, Forspoken didn’t make it into the top 10, even though it has been pushed by a large marketing campaign. Forspoken being one of the first games to retail at $69.99 might have costs them more than expected. It should be noted though, that SteamDB treats several editions of each game as unique entries. As a result, the Dead Space remake, including it’s basic edition, Deluxe edition, and pre-order pages, appears four times in the top 10.
It’s unclear how many players pre-ordered Forspoken in the weeks prior to it’s release. These might not have been included in the game’s overall revenue chart from the previous week. In addition to costing substantially more compared to Hi-Fi Rush, the Square Enix game requires more demanding PC hardware, which may tilt sales in favor of Hi-Fi Rush even more.
