Hi-Fi Rush is a head banging, toe tapping, “rhythm based” action game. Challenging puzzles and levels with unique mechanics makes this game a hit! This is our Hi-Fi Rush Review.
Tango Gameworks along with Bethesda released a gem of a game with Hi-Fi Rush. Introduced during the Xbox developer direct and released that same day to the surprise of many. The game makes great use of the terrain and how you maneuver around the maps. This along with the amazing comic book art style make Hi-Fi Rush a visually pleasing experience as well.
The gameplay has a great balance of difficulty and reward. Most challenges can be completed first try on normal difficulty, we found some bosses could take a few extra attempts. The maps also include some minor puzzle like mechanics to advance in the terrain which can be rewarding after figuring it out. The bosses are fun yet challenging as well and each have their own feel to them. Overall gameplay was a huge plus for us.
Without giving any spoilers away, just know that the narrative is very fun to follow. The writers at Tango did a great job keeping us engaged to the story and everything going on. Overall we do recommend this game. It is very fun for the whole time you are playing and with it being on Xbox game pass, a killer deal for your wallet.
