Several of the amazing voice actors who will appear in Hogwarts Legacy were announced today. We get our first glimpse of Phineas Nigellus Black, played by Simon Pegg, who will play the obnoxious headmaster of Hogwarts in the game.
Here are some fascinating tidbits about Hogwarts Legacy’s cast and a sneak peek at the brilliant Simon Pegg as the school’s headmaster at the time of the game’s historical setting.
A cast of voice actors, including those who will play your own character in the game, will join Simon Pegg. The game avatars are voiced by Sebastian Croft and Amelia Gething. You can customize you voice in Hogwarts Legacy, enabling gamers to completely customize their persona, while also being able to fully customize the look of their characters. Headmaster Simon Pegg
Phineas Nigellus Black, played by Simon Pegg will be well-known to many Harry Potter fans because he is an ancestor of Sirius Black. He is regarded as one of the least popular headmasters in Hogwarts history. In the novels, a surly, unwilling Phineas, depicted as a picture hanging in Professor Dumbledore’s office, reluctantly contributes to the delivery of a letter to the twin portrait of the Black family living in Grimmauld Place. We’ll discover everything about how he earned such a horrible reputation in Hogwarts history in the game.
The reveal of Professor Matilda Weasley, played by Lesley Nicol, is another well-known figure that surfaced in the preview video and is certain to get fans talking. Is Matilda an old Weasley ancestor? We know that Ron’s family is a long-standing magical family that dates back many generations.
Returning character to the Wizarding World
Luke Youngblood’s return to the Wizarding World. His casting as the game’s mischievous Ravenclaw Everett Clopton will also excite fans. Luke has faced challenges before, though—the young actor gained notoriety as Lee Jordan in the Harry Potter movies! Mahendra Pehlwaan, voiced by Asif Ali, a Ravenclaw student who is a Muggle and is passionate about following the rules.
Kandace Caine, who plays the twin parts of Gryffindor student Natsai and her mother. Divination Professor Onai, Professor Satyavati Shah, voiced by Sohm Kapila teaches Astronomy.
Finally, Jason Anthony will provide the voices for two well-known and beloved characters: Nearly Headless Nick and the Sorting Hat. We can’t wait to see these two stalwarts of Hogwarts again, as well as the rest of this intriguing cast!
