Order 1 Walkthrough
You’ll begin the first order you were processing after an introduction cutscene. You’ll need to find the three Smart Drugs that got dropped off your bike and bring them to Central Knot City, which is where you were going in the first place. You should have your first shipment right in front of you. To load it onto your back, use the triangle button (PlayStation), or press E (PC).
You must find shelter because it will begin to rain as soon as you receive pick up the box of Smart Drugs. You can use the odradek scanner by pressing R1 (PlayStation), or Q (PC) to make a waypoint for a nearby cave where you can seek refuge from the rain. Another cutscene starts when you enter the cave. Once it’s over, go to down hill and make your way to Central Knot City.
You may find the second Smart Drugs container by crossing the river. The structures of Central Knot City can be seen off in the distance on the horizon. This is the direction you’re going. You’ll likely come across lost goods while scanning with your odradek scanner along the journey; it will likely be in unexpected locations, so take it if you can. To locate the third missing container of Smart Drugs, search in the river close to the stairway as you enter the city.
As you enter the city, the delivery center will be on your left; turn around and deliver the containers of smart medications there, along with any missing cargo.
Following delivery, a lengthy cutscene will begin in which Sam assists the Corpse Disposal Team in moving a body. Sam will die at the end of this cutscene, during which you will discover that Sam is a Repatriate, able to resurrect from the location known as the Seam.
