ESO Beginner Stamina DPS Build All Classes

Introduction

DPS’ing in The Elder Scrolls Online is very similar to other MMOs as far as responsibilities. A DPS’s responsibility is to damage the enemy until it dies. As a Stamina DPS typically this is done from melee range. Other responsibilities include priority on rezzing and dungeon mechanics. This is our ESO Beginner Stamina DPS Build All Classes.

All Classes

This build guide is designed for new to mid level players to get through all Vet Non DLC Dungeons and all trials on normal. The hope is that this build is the stepping stone needed to farm the end game gear required to do top end content in the future of your ESO career. All sets used are craftable making this build an option your first day in Tamriel. Although this guide is for all classes over time as you get more comfortable with the content you may find yourself making slight changes to better suit your own playstyle, this is very much encouraged.

Gear information

As mentioned earlier, DPS’ing in ESO is all about maximizing damage to kill the target as fast as possible. The two damage sets we use in this build are some of the strongest in the game. We are able to squeeze in some stamina recovery, but it is important to weave heavy attacks often to restore resources. All the sets used on this guide are craftable making it possible to run them without having to farm any gear at all. Once you are able to farm monster sets and other end game DPS gear it is encouraged to run those instead.

Champion Points

Champion points tend to change depending on the content being ran. These are a great foundation to base your build off of until you learn the changes that are optimal for each dungeon or trial. With that being said the changes are minimal and wont break the build.

Warfare

  • Deadly Aim
  • Fighting Finesse
  • Master-at-Arms
  • Wrathful Strikes

Fitness

  • Bastion
  • Boundless Vitality
  • Fortified
  • Bloody Renewal

Craft

  • Steed’s Blessing
  • Rationer
  • Liquid Efficiency
  • Treasure Hunter

Additional Information

These are some final notes about the build that I really want to emphasize or go over again.

  • If you do not have a skill unlocked just run what you can its not a big deal
  • Include Heavy attacks in your rotation to restore stamina
  • Light attack weave between every skill
  • We wear 5 medium 1 light 1 heavy for max undaunted bonus
  • Drop stamina recover for more weapon damage if having too much stamina after fights
  • Position yourself in front of the healer for heals
